The book The Fault in Our Stars  is about a girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster who has thyroid cancer. It made her life very difficult and she became a little depressed. She met Augustus Waters at a support group and they started getting really close. He brought happiness into Hazels life and she really needed that. Augustus had cancer in the past which caused him to lose a leg. Augustus and Hazel were always there for each other through their difficulties. The Fault in Our Stars was a great book. It had sad parts, it had happy parts and I never wanted to put the book down. The beginning of the book was a little slow but the more I read the better it got. The book really shows you how teenagers are having to deal with cancer but it also shows you even through tough times the characters in the book were able to find joy and be happy. The story is very inspiring and makes you want to live your life to the fullest.

I would recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction and romance. The book does have some depressing parts so I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone who doesn't like sad books. The book can go from a good happy setting to sad pretty quickly in some parts. It also shows the difficulties of cancer really well too. Everyone should really give this book a chance because you will probably end up loving it in the end.
